Membership to Eastman's Clockworks is free. All Members will be placed on
the Eastman's Clockworks email Updates list. Members may post an unlimited number of vintage and antique timepieces in the Eastman's Clockworks auctions.
Members that buy or sell five items in our auctions also receive a personalized home page on the Eastman’s Clockworks web site detailing your own clock services and specialties.
|
 |
Members agree to pay a 4.5% seller’s fee (based on the amount of the winning
bid) for any items sold in an Eastman’s Clockworks auction. Members will not be charged a fee for clocks that do not sell at auction,
and may keep an unsold listing active as long as desired.
|
 |
Members agree to describe the items they submit for auction accurately and as completely as possible. Known
defects, damage, repairs or replacement parts must be included in the descriptions. The item description must also indicate if the item is in working condition. Pictures
provided should supplement the descriptions to give the bidder a complete and accurate representation of the item being auctioned. Members further
agree that they will refund winning bidders the full amount of the winning bid (excluding shipping and handling costs) if the bidder receives an item
that was inaccurately described (bidder must notify selling Member and Eastman's Clockworks within 7 days of receiving the item).
|
 |
Members agree to ship items to the winning bidder within 5 days of verifying payment. Eastman's Clockworks
will facilitate contact between winning bidders and sellers at the auction conclusion to discuss shipping options and total shipping costs.
When Members personally pack an item for shipment, a modest handling charge of a few dollars to cover packing expenses is a reasonable expectation.
Members should add shipping insurance charges to the total for each item shipped to protect the winning bidder from damage in transit. Members agree they
will not add unnecessary charges to inflate shipping or handling charges.
