Featured Auction on Eastman's
Clockworks!
Forrestville Mfg. Co. carved half-column and splat, ca. 1835. Pineapple capitals, with carved fruit bowl splat and paw feet. Wooden finials are likely replacements. The ivory/bone escutcheon is detached but included. Wooden dial has significant expansion cracks and may not be original to the case. Bottom reverse-painted tablet is old, but may be a replacement. Very good original paper label. 30-hour wood works, weight-driven bell-strike movement is not currently running. Case measures 31" x 16" x 5". This is a very nice early American clock in overall good condition. Estimated value is $700 to $1,200.

Bidding In The Online Auctions Is Easy!
Just go to the Up For
Auction link, browse the items up for auction, and submit your bid
(giving us your name, email address and bid amount). Your bid will be
screened against the reserve price set by the seller. If your bid
exceeds the reserve (or is accepted by the seller as reasonable), then a
10-day "Open Auction" countdown will begin. If other bids
are received during this period that are higher than your bid, you will be
a given the opportunity to submit the final bid. At the end of the
10-day Open Auction, the highest bid wins!
